Asking us for a donation

We get asked a lot, and we would rather give you a straight process than have you catch one of us at the counter and hope. Read this bit first, it is short.

Before you fill anything in

We are one store on Front Street, not a company with a giving budget. We say yes when we can, and we cannot say yes to everything. None of that is a reflection on your cause.

How much notice we need

Four to eight weeks before your event. Less than four weeks and we very likely cannot get to it, though you are welcome to send it anyway and we will look.

How you will hear back

We come back to as many as we can. If you have not heard from us by a week before your event, we were not able to help this time. We would rather say that here than leave you refreshing your inbox.

This is a request, not an approval. Nothing is set aside for you when you send this.
We need the organisation's legal name and tax ID. Not to be difficult: it is what our bookkeeping needs to record a donation at all.
One request per event. Sending it twice does not move you up.
Your details stay with us. They go to our inbox and nowhere else.
